Compost pile number 1, in which I was digging for redworms (Eisenia) to add to pile number 2. There is some chicken wire -- stray pieces of it -- which I keep on top of the pile to discourage possums, raccoons, rats etc from digging into it to eat the worms. The raccoons have been a real nuisance in this regard.
